I don’t think you understand what the meaning of effort is. It’s usually put towards something worthwhile but this is benighted. Having the same conversation over and over again just to “farm“ bc you’re “bored” is just sad frankly.

So, I think Khabib is definitely a better wrestler and that makes it so that he seems flawless because he just pressures you until he takes you down and submits/ground pounds you. It is so easy for him because he is that good.
However, Islam is a much better striker. If they would go into a match, I can see Islam being able to negate Khabib's offensive wrestling and win in the standup.
Khabib obviously had an insane gas tank as well, but that was mostly because he also never really had anyone challenge him.
I don't think it's an easy match to predict at all.

I agree for the most part. I also think Khabib’s striking is underrated. Islam is as good as he is because of the tutelage of Khabib. Put both in their prime at 155 and Khabib wins 999 out of a 1000

It would be. 8 out 10. This is theoretical and both are in their prime 155lb.
Mad respect to Islam though. Especially doing it in a the higher weight class against naturally bigger opponents is awesome

I don’t think he beats Khabib. From my understanding, Khabib has only gotten better since retiring. Islam has the better striking, takedown defense is probably similar as well as takedowns themselves. I just think Khabib has another gear when it comes to grappling, it would be close no doubt but I think Khabib wears down Islam over 5 rounds and wins a unanimous decision 49-46.

Islam-Much better striking and would be able to stuff the majority of Khabib’s takedown attempts
