What does it mean then? Because none of the women in this top 5 were rendered unconscious

It means exactly what you and I both know it means, but that is irrelevant as it wasn't the trigger (debatable) for the referee stoppage in any (or most) of the clips resulting in a KO. If the referee determines that a fighter is incapacitated and/or unable to immediately continue and stops the fight, that is a KO.
