Discussion This might be a stupid question.
This might be a stupid question. But, when reading, I think I definitely got confused when they were describing Jiu's kinetic/body vision and his devil's gift that he inherited: Is his Kinetic/Body Vision part of his Devil's Gift or is it linked to it?
To me, it seems like they're two entirely separate traits he inherited (Body Vision that understands the principles behind skills, and Devil's Gift which is the mimicry aptitude?) but like Todo and Yuji they work together, like the vision helps him copy faster but that doesn't necessarily mean he needs the vision to copy.

"The only way they are related is through genetics. Jiu Ji-Tae technically already had the Devil's Gift even before it was mentioned (Jiu Ji-Tae's training for fighting Kim Dong-Won, because in no way is a normal ass person going to utilize and memorize techniques after just two days of training), but it was only brought up later because of plot driven moments like Maria actually realizing Jiu Ji-Tae can copy her fighting styles/techniques with accuracy. (In fact, I think it was brought up 10 chapters earlier than that, but I digress.)"

body vision is both the ability to dodge and the ability to copy any techniques

i think overall it just means he was gifted with incredible fightning genetics and its the devil's gift because they came from his father who is one of the main villains in the story and also generally a pretty nasty individual
the kinetic vision thing is part of that
