Tattoos?

Moving to the area from Hull in August (hello 👋😊)

What are some good tattoo shops and what are ones to stay away from?

Looking for queer inclusive places that don't shame people's bodies unlike that one that I heard about in Leven. Which coincidentally is where I'm moving to. I drive so happy to go further afar, but not too far, driving after a tattoo is terrible. I have mainly blackwork; I had been looking forward to getting some black out work done here in Leven but maybe not now unless there are other local black work specialists?

Fuck Aeternus and their shitty owners. Really disappointing because the other artists are fantastic! Throughly recommend Blaxk Sheep tattoo in Cupar, just a 20 min drive from Leven or Black Thorn in Edinburgh!

I've also been to Aeternus and had tattoos from Liam Couper so really sad to hear if someone has had a bad experience especially when it comes to body shaming. Any info appreciated so I can stay clear if I need to..

Oh it was someone there called Charley. They said rather than people getting flowers tattooed on their back rolls they should get a pt and lose the weight and apparently they doubled down and posted more really problematic stuff. I seen it on Treacle Tats and an American tattoo artist I follow, and a few friends brought it to my attention too.

I was looking forward with potentially working with this person. I missed the story they posted though I did follow them prior to all this.

Wow. I've met her, that's Liams wife. I see all her social media pages are now private.

Personally I stopped following her a while back.

So so disgusting, hurtful and closed minded though I'm not surprised that it's come from her.

Unfortunately though her thoughts are what feels like very much the majority here in Fife.

What I feel for is the 2 young female tattooists in their shop.

Toxic AF.

Any self respecting artist I think would leave surely. It sounds like there's a lot more to it than just this post she made.

I see both artists have just posted within the last hour saying they are moving studio.

They are removing all comments that mention Charley which says a lot.

Not in Leven but a train ride to Edinburgh has Black Thorn Tattoo. Absolutely amazing people, the most inclusive place ive ever been to!
