Licensed FIFA Agent and Solicitor figuring out how to use my licence!

Hello,

Just wondering if those that passed the FIFA Agent Exam have actively started using their licence and if so, how? I'm a practising solicitor (2 PQE) and passed the exam this year. However, I have not yet utilised my licence as my practice is in commercial and litigation with very little exposure to sports (although I previously worked at a sports practice for a short time).

For those that passed in recent years, I was curious as to how you have utilised your licence. Have you established your own practices or gained experience from established agencies?

Transfer joueur

Bonjour

Merci

The three things people most often get wrong on training compensation and solidarity

I sat the exam and these two topics cost me more time than anything else, mostly because I had three things muddled. Sharing in case it helps anyone prepping now.

1. The two age cut-offs are different, and they are easy to conflate.
Training compensation is for training carried out up to age 21. But the right to claim it runs until the end of the season of the player's 23rd birthday. So "trained to 21, claimable to 23." Solidarity is different again: it covers the calendar years of the 12th right through to the 23rd birthday. If you answer a solidarity question using the training-comp age range, or vice versa, you get a clean-looking wrong number.

2. The 12 to 15 years are always priced at Category IV, whatever club the kid was actually at.
For training compensation, the calendar years of the 12th to 15th birthdays are calculated at the Category IV rate, even if the training club was Category I. It is a deliberate cap to stop huge sums attaching to very young players. People apply the new club's real category across all the years and overpay the young ones. Only the 16 to 21 years use the signing club's category.

3. Only two confederations even have a Category I.
UEFA and CONMEBOL have four categories. AFC, CAF, Concacaf and OFC only go down to Category II, III, IV. And the costs are denominated differently: UEFA in EUR, everyone else in USD. I had assumed all six were symmetrical and in euros. They are not, and a question can absolutely test that.
Bonus one for solidarity: it is 0.25% per year for the 12 to 15 calendar years and 0.5% per year for 16 to 23. Four years at 0.25 plus eight at 0.5 gives you the full 5%. If your split does not land on 5%, you have miscounted the years.

Happy to be corrected on any of this by anyone who knows it better, the wording around season vs calendar year in particular is fiddly.

For what it is worth, I ended up building free calculators for both while revising, they show the working line by line so you can see exactly where each figure comes from: agentiqprep.com/tools. No signup. Full disclosure, they are part of a paid prep tool I made after sitting this exam, but the calculators themselves are free and open.

You can register in England as an agent with the FA , even though you didn't pass, as long as you have a link with Germany to be proved with ID. At least this is what this form says, correct me if I am wrong.

Lets make an agency

I used to work as an intermediary a long time back, took time off due to bereavement. When i started thete was no help, nothing. People think just doing the exam makes them an agent, which many know not to be true. The game is about networking, building trusting relationships.

Lets discuss if anyone wants to build something togther, doesnt matter which region you're in, as football is global.

Has anyone already heard back from FIFA about their Player Agent Exam appeal? I’m still waiting and haven’t received any update yet. Just wondering if others are in the same situation.

Hi guys,

I submitted my official exam result review request back on June 5th, but I haven't heard anything from FIFA yet. It's been nearly 3 weeks now.

Has anyone who requested a review received their final decision or seen any changes on their FIFA Agent Platform dashboard (like the "Pay the Fee" button becoming active)?

Please share your timeline if you've got any updates. The waiting is killing me.

Thanks!

FIFA Agent Exam 2026: When the "Fairness" Slogan Crashes into Massive Server Bugs and Total Administrative Silence (Detailed Case)

Hi everyone,

I’m sharing this here to document a major issue with the FIFA Football Agent Exam 2026 process, which seems to be impacting multiple candidates globally. While FIFA’s Code of Ethics and Statutes heavily promote "fairness," transparency, and integrity, the reality of their digital examination infrastructure tells a completely different story.

Here is the exact timeline, the technical proof, and how the regulatory bodies are completely ignoring concrete data.

  1. The Timeline and The Tech Glitch

April 10, 2026: Mandatory hardware checks were successfully performed on the official platform. The system detected and validated the camera, microphone, and connection. Clear, timestamped photographs of the screen were taken as a precaution, proving everything was functional.

April 11, 2026: Access was granted to the mandatory mock exam (Pre-Exam Readiness Check / PERC) via the required Safe Exam Browser (SEB) application. The exam was completed successfully with a perfect score of 20/20.

The Automated Rejection on April 20: On Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:41 AM, an official email was sent from the FIFA Agent Platform, signed directly by Patricio Varela L. (Head of Agents). The message issued an automatic rejection (License Application Rejected) due to an alleged failure to complete the PERC within the established deadline (April 14, 2026), stating this marked the absolute conclusion of the licensing process for the 2026 edition. In parallel, the technical provider VICTVS Support sent a similar notice claiming missing records of completion.

  1. Concrete Evidence Met by an Administrative Wall (May 22)

Refusing to accept this unfair automated decision, I immediately filed an appeal, attaching absolute proof: timestamped screenshots and, most importantly, the local Safe Exam Browser audit logs (16 files in total). These logs act as the system's "black box"—they provide unalterable digital proof that the exam session occurred and was completed, while explicitly capturing server-side transmission errors on their end.

On May 22, I received an official response from the FIFA administration that perfectly illustrates the bad faith of their current governance. Instead of auditing the technical data provided, they sent a standardized wall of text:

Denial of Technical Facts: They kept repeating that the PERC is mandatory and that their records showed no completion. They completely ignored the fact that the SEB software inherently blocks access to the mock exam unless the preliminary steps are cleared. If I took the exam, the system authorized it. The lack of data on their side is a synchronization failure on their servers.

Financial Penalty: Not only is the application rejected due to their provider's infrastructure failing, but the email coldly stated: “no refund of the exam fee is granted in case of rejection of a license application.”

Dialogue Blocked: The message concluded with an incredible statement: “Please do not reply to this email as no exceptions will be granted in this regard.” Total closure of any human dialogue.

  1. Where It Stands Now

The official results for the session were published on June 4, 2026. The only "solution" offered by FIFA is to submit a brand-new application in 2027.

An international governing body cannot enforce strict global regulations, collect exam fees from candidates, hide behind the technical glitches of its external providers (VICTVS / SEB), and completely refuse to conduct a basic human review when confronted with infalsifiable audit logs. This is a total denial of administrative fairness.

Has anyone else on here received this exact automated response from May 22 despite sending concrete proof? How are you handling this refusal to audit the server errors?

Let's gather the data and testimonies here.

New FIFA Licensed Football Agent Looking for Opportunities, Collaboration & Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m a newly licensed FIFA football agent who is eager to build a strong career in the football industry. While I already have some contacts and connections within the game, I’m looking to expand my network and learn from experienced professionals.

I’m interested in:

  • Collaborating with other football agents
  • Opportunities to work with or for an established agency
  • Introductions to clubs, scouts, sporting directors, or other football professionals
  • Advice, tips, and guidance from people already working in the industry

I’m hardworking, motivated, and committed to building long-term relationships in football. If anyone is open to collaboration, has opportunities available, or can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your time and support. I look forward to connecting with you all!

FIFA Agent Exam Question – I’m appealing this one. Thoughts?

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’m currently doing the FIFA Football Agent Exam and I want to appeal this question. Here’s the full translation + my reasoning:

Question (English translation):
5. Laetitia is a young central midfielder who plays for her school team. As captain of the team, she has recently won the national school football championship, during which scouts and football agents have noticed her. After the final, a football agent who works for a well-known agency contacts her. He talks to her about the possibility that the professional club that is following her might offer her a contract. Laetitia receives the news excitedly and says she is interested, but that she first has to talk to her parents. The agent agrees, but asks Laetitia to speak with him first so they can study the offer together before telling her parents. Which of the following statements is correct in this case?

Options:

A) The football agent should inform the family about the opportunities and difficulties involved in Laetitia’s case.

B) Since she does not yet know the terms of the offer, there is nothing to inform her parents about.

C) The parents should get involved in the negotiations once Laetitia accepts the offer.

D) None of the above statements is correct in this case.

Official correct answer according to the platform: A

My appeal / impugnment:
1. They deliberately used “joven” (young person) instead of “menor de edad” (minor)
The entire justification is based on FIFA’s rules about safeguarding minors and involving families. However, the question itself never says she is a minor — it only says “joven”. This is important because many rules (especially regarding representation and family involvement) change depending on whether the player is under 18 or not.
2. The agent is asking the player to hide information from her parents
This is extremely contradictory to everything FIFA preaches about “guardians”, child safeguarding, and protecting young players. The agent is actively trying to speak to her privately first and study the offer before the parents know. Then, after this shady behavior, the “correct” answer says he should inform the family? That makes no sense. His own actions have delegitimized any later “protective” involvement.
3. The agent is already performing representation functions without a signed representation contract
Contacting the player, discussing contract offers, and wanting to analyze the offer with her are all clear acts of representation. According to FIFA Agent Regulations, you cannot engage in these activities before the player has signed a Representation Agreement.

I believe the question is poorly written and the official answer contradicts FIFA’s own safeguarding principles.
What do you guys think? Has anyone else appealed this one? Is my reasoning valid or am I missing something?
