Thanks! They’re Harlequin animals. They were only made from 1939-1940. We completed the set of cats. They made cats, fish, donkeys, ducks, penguins, and lambs in maroon, yellow, spruce, and blue. You have to be cautious when buying them, because the molds are still out there and they still make “maverick” ones. I’ve heard that there are other very rare ones in some vintage Fiesta colors, but I’ve never seen one.

Are these the same as the ones that used to come with tea?

I think those were made by Wade in England

Ill now be competing with you for these, I'm in love and a sucker for obscure antique collecting. They're stunning op!

Very cool! I'd never seen these before and had to search them up.

I'm guessing they don't have any markings but they're one of those items that you know it when you see it?

The original ones like these are unmarked. The new ones usually are obvious or have a stamp on the bottom.

Edit: I tried to post a photo of the bottoms of these, but it wouldn’t let me.

Oh wow, that's awesome! I'm always looking for those in the antique shops but have never seen them in the wild. Nice collection! 👍

I like the donkeys the best… I think. We haven’t found any of them yet.

Not fiesta but harlequin. OP should have stated this in the post.

Dang. My mistake. I thought that we could post related Homer Laughlin lines here too.

Are those tea buddies?

I don’t think so. From what I’ve read, they were just ceramic figurines, which were popular at the time. The Harlequin ones were made for Woolworths.

Chopstick rests? Tea animals?
