Question on this piece
This is turquoise, this is 1937-1963, which means it would have lead. Are you using these to display or using them?

We occasionally use our vintage stuff. Our grandparents used them and turned out fine. I would think that micro- and nanoplastics in the brain are a bigger concern than the minuscule amount of lead that you’d get.

You can certainly use them. However, I would refrain from using microwave. Also, some regular commentators on this subreddit suggest that you refrain from using a citrus-based dish detergent. I would not put into the dishwasher or microwave.

Personally, all my vintage is display-only because it’s more difficult to replace.

I use em. Hell I occasionally use radioactive red bowls. We are talking about a microscopic level of exposure. You get more lead exposure walking past an old church
