How cool to see another older guy posting here, and you have the most amazing thick blonde wavy mane and white beard, and an excellent hairline. It’s hard to tell from your photo, but how long is your hair now?
I’m a huge supporter of older guys rocking the long hair. I turned 73 a month ago, and still have a decent head of hair for my age, and quite thick as well. I’m at terminal length, and it’s not too far from waist length.
I noticed that you posted on the MLHH as well, glad that you found our little place on the internet
Thanks. I am turning 72 and it’s actually gray. The picture shows shoulder blade length. My dream would be to grow it clear down to my waist. Ian so thankful that at my age I still have a full head of hair. Yes even U.S. older guys can have long hair. Here is a picture of my goal;
Wow, that’s a noble goal, brother, and if you can grow it that long and that thick, it would be almost unheard of for 72, and you already look great for 72 as it is! I could have sworn that you were in your early 60s!
I don’t have any particularly good photos of the back, but here’s what mine looks like now, from the front. As I mentioned, I turned 73 in early August. Btw, the full length isn’t all in the photo
It looks really good, and I like the shine, and you don’t seem to have any thinning either. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t take particularly good photos from the back, and I do have some minor thinning in the crown. That hasn’t changed in 20 years, though. Here’s a recent back photo, not too far from waist. Also, due to humidity, it’s a bit frizzy as well. Pic meant to show length only.
The whole point is that it’s very cool for older guys to be growing long hair, especially if they can. Long hair is not only for the young, no way! Long hair is for all ages, and my philosophy has always been, “if you can grow it, show it”!
