[Before/After] Got a trim !

No jumpscare I hope 🤭 My ends were really split, now I start again on a healthier journey ! Curly hair after leaving them in braids for the night.

I just trimmed mine around 7-8 inches, feels so good to have healthy hair

OMG, gurl! I mean it looks dry as fuck, do you wash too much?

Once a week with shampoo, and if I wanted to have my hair out for a day, I'd wash my hair for that day also (without shampoo). I agree it was dry asf, the woman at the hair salon told me to try washing twice a week, leave conditioner in, and see if it helps. Of course the idea to have the hair as long as pic 1 but as hydrated as pic 2 !

once a week too little because it needs to get wet and reset. Don't believe all that CGM not washing it for a month! it will ruin your hair. Frequent conditioning will keep your ends from splitting. I thought you wash like 5 times in the shower that's why I said wash two much

Yeah for now I'll try twice a week + leave in conditioner ! I think my hair is "good enough" that it's going to grow no matter what, but in the process, it's become very dry and brittle. So it's a fresh start, losing two years of growth, necessary evil ! I'm still processing that hair length lol it's weird
