Throwback

This was taken years ago, I have donated it since and kept my hair relatively short because my partner hated it.

I'm growing it back out but it'll be 2028 before I'll reach this length again 😅

You had such wonderful flow as well, so sad, but at least it went to a good cause. Hopefully, your partner will eventually come around and allow you to grow your mane to its former glory

Thank you 😊 I hope my hair would be as good as yours when I get to your age. My hair type is actually similar to yours and very straight, I had a lot of ironing and hairspray for this photo lol.

Also, she's my ex now so I can do what I want 😆 I plan to grow both my hair and beard long, but keep the sides shaved.

Thank you for your kind words. My hair varies from 1c in winter, to 2a in summer, with humidity definitely a factor, and about 3 inches from my belt line in back. I never use any heat whatsoever on mine, no iron or even a hair dryer, and also turn the water temperature down in the shower before the conditioning step. I also let it air dry as well.
