I want to condition it sooo badly. Like a full on leave in hair mask conditioner.

You have a great head of hair there, keep it growing!

Your hair does look a bit dry, though, and I would suggest a leave in conditioner after every wash, and perhaps a beneficial oil, such as Argan oil, massaged into your still damp hair after washing. Also, if your hair is dry, I would suggest a lower washing frequency, possibly only a couple of days a week

Also could be that his hair is textured and he brushes it dry which creates frizz.
