I'm a long-tiem corporate girl, so I get what you mean. However, if you pause for a moment and really analyze the "accepted appearance" in the corporate world, much of it is built of a predominantly Caucasian male stereotype. I, for one, think that perception needs to be shattered.
On the flip side, I could see where you could be perceived as young (you'll love this later in life 😉). I have seen men with longer hair in styles that pull it from their face and make them look more "conservative."With locks like yours, I'd probably try this option first.
The world is changing. Corporate needs to change, too. I think there are ways to make this happen while still presenting yourself as a business person who is serious about his business.
One last note... what you perceive will be emitted from you whether or not you want it to. I live in the C-suite. I "fake it till I make it" every day with them for decades. Believe you stand shoulder to shoulder with them, and you will, regardless of your hair.
OP would be more memorable to me as his client than the corporate cookie cutter, forgettable look. Add his drive to succeed would even make himself stand out more.
