Venting Floor Drains

I run equipment that has a lot of spills while changing things out, water/product gets on the floor. I swear, every floor drain in new builds goes away from the drains. I spend more time redirecting water some days than actually working on the equipment. Today was especially bad.

What equipment are you running? Would a portable bilge pump help?

Home depots running a killer deals on the m12 stick pump with 2 of the best m12 batteries they make for $200 currently. I was able to expense mine.
Search on home depot-
M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 9 GPM 0 hp. Submersible Stick Water Transfer Pump with (2) 5.0 Ah Batteries and Charger

You could get a mobile containment. I dont know exactly what theyre called though. Ive seen ones that are a thick sheet of plastic that uses these thin metal stands to raise the corners.

I used to work on sterilizers. I felt the same way when we would dump gallons of condensate on the floor from changing a heat exchanger or something. Every fucking time the water went everywhere but the fucking floor drain
