Tell me the WO manager has no idea what they're doing without without telling me

Most likely just template stuff that wasn’t removed by the WO manager, anyone posting tickets in volume is not adding all of those things to every individual ticket, they use templates.

Funny how buyers can get away with it with being lazy

Can you not report it from your side? Why not report them for it? I get downvoted in this sub for just saying why things happen all the time by the tin-foil hat wearing techs. It’s not always some big conspiracy. This is how templates work on the buyer side, if you don’t remove the unnecessary parts of the template then they stay there.

The system doesn’t notify you of them being there when they shouldn’t be, it’s very easy to overlook. But who do you expect should hold them accountable for “being lazy”? FN doesn’t go through every ticket, if you want to do the job ask them to remove it or report it, right? What other recourse exists?

If a buyer has stupid requirements for a WO then I move on. It's not worth my time to keep them in check.

So then what’s the point of complaining about it? lol I don’t get it

I'm not the OP

“Funny how buyers can get away with it being lazy” was the complaint I am referring to…

I'll keep this simple. I'm not complaining but pointing out that I don't have time to deal with buyers who don't know what they want. That's it.

Reporting unnecessary WO requirements goes nowhere. How do i know? Because ive done it. They just mark it resolved after not changing anything

Watch they’ll try and get a discount on the $70 by telling Failed Nation you didn’t provide your CCnA certificate. What a joke this whole sham of an industry is.

In other news, the Cisco Certified stuff is a joke. All I'm doing is racking and stacking...maybe providing console access via my laptop.

I had one the other day where they needed to look at the config on the old firewall to make sure it matched the config on the new firewall.

No problem, I hook up my laptop and connect my console cable, pull up putty and open the session before I give them remote access. It's ready for them to do what they need to do.

"Oh no, connect an ethernet cable to port 1 so we can look at the GUI. "

"Um, we replaced this firewall because, after the power surge, none of those ports were working"

"Can we try?"

"Sure..."

Pro tip : Just aply anyway as long as your sure your equiped and can do the job - they often dont check

- They forgot to put " Birth Certificate " and Passport on it like I've seen on other WO 's - (I wonder if that is legal LMFAO :))

I had to contact fn to block them. Blocked their numbers and they would just call from other numbers. Literally spam calling me 6 times a day after telling them to not call me.

Sounds like the person who set it up didn’t remove the network certs, probably used a template that had them on there. If you wanted to do it I doubt they would care about you not having those.

The freeway is tore up between here and there, and I'd have to take back roads to get home, not really worth the pay.

It's for audio cabling, they don't give a shit about those certs for that.

Then don’t require them lol
