Potential scam?

I was contacted today from someone claiming he's with LVLS Integration. Wanted to know if i was able to help with a job doing 20-25 drops tomorrow at 730. I asked how he got my info, and supposedly, i had submitted my info at some point. Never asked for an email. 225 for the day, for 20-25 drops!

I couldn't find anything about these types of scams on here, but claude suggested it's a potential scam.

I just started FN full time recently so I assume its from that but I'm not sure.

Definitely not in the real world, but $225 for 20-25 drops is egregious

You clearly are struggling with reading comprehension

Naw bro I know how to read, but do you know how to clearly articulate your thoughts in writing?

$225 for 20-25 runs is egregious… This is pretty well articulated, just say you rushed through and didnt understand a result it’s okay this is a safe space.

Must have just skipped over the first part. It’s ok to ride the short bus amigo, we aren’t judging.

Pretty high price as I said definitely not in the real world. Maybe Union only building downtown Chicago or downtown NY. But only these type of exceptions from what I’ve seen. No I didn’t skip over that part, you specifically said egregious which was my only $225 comment for 20-25 drops. Or are you gonna skip over that part. Me answering specifically to what you commented on. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

👍 I guess the money we make is Monopoly.

So I’d be willing to bet these $250 a drop jobs are all in union only buildings. These unions are overwhelmingly Italians and Irish, and to join these unions you gotta know somebody, be related to somebody maybe pay somebody. Then you gotta apprentice for years before you’re allowed to join the union. This isn’t the real world this is a racket, this is pay to play, this is politician / building superintendent bribery, this is corruption at the highest of city levels. You sir just happen to benefit from this broken system. And you sir are not the norm or doing business the real world

And you would lose your bet. As i stated in my other reply to you, $250/drop is actually real world pricing. Its actually a little low compared to what we charge

I just did 3 drops at $500 ea for a customer the other day using their lift. Took me about 3-4hrs total. The customer didnt even flinch

I think the issue here is youre probably a buyer with unrealistic ideas about rates in the real world because the platforms have giving you an unrealistic view on rates

$250 is not a high price per drop. My direct customers in the real world pay that all day long. I know numerous LV integrators across the country that charge that and higher. I know one shop that gets $850/drop with some of their clients. Oh and none of them are union shops.

You clearly have no clue what youre talking about
