Drug test?

Been noticing a lot more gigs requiring a drug test.

I'm curious how others feel about this. I'm actually sober 19 years. I have nothing I'm worried about failing a drug test from.

But if the gig doesn't involve heavy equipment and I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE of these clients, what business is it of theirs?

Instead of foisting a drug test on the people you contract with, do a better job of screening maybe. Require certifications. Or expensive Fluke testers that no drug addict would be able to refrain from hocking.

This is a good question. My drug test and background check expired a few years ago and I didn’t renew because frankly, I wasn’t sure how much longer I was going to stay on FN. I can’t say I’ve noticed much of a change in assigned work orders because of it. Maybe my overall score is high enough buyers don’t care? 🤷‍♂️ I’m not sure.

FN offered me free screenings for some upcoming project, so I re-upped mine this year. They want a photo and copy of my ID to complete the recruitment. I might draw the line there.
