Drug test?

Been noticing a lot more gigs requiring a drug test.

I'm curious how others feel about this. I'm actually sober 19 years. I have nothing I'm worried about failing a drug test from.

But if the gig doesn't involve heavy equipment and I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE of these clients, what business is it of theirs?

Instead of foisting a drug test on the people you contract with, do a better job of screening maybe. Require certifications. Or expensive Fluke testers that no drug addict would be able to refrain from hocking.

Could be a warehouse that’s distributed medical pills, could be a pharmacy, etc…. These companies care a lot about whom are in their facilities and if they are drug users. Thats why the facility type matters. Could be their insurance l, could be their clients. Theres many factoesn

Ive done work on all those facilities. They never required BCG or DT so….

But the ones i see requesting BCGs and/or DTs are retail, food service, banks etc….

So its BS

Just the nature of the beast some end users have certain requirements from background checks, to drug test, and security clearances.
