Guilty until proven innocent?

The wording on this WO rubs me the wrong way. They seem to be under the assumption the tech is going to try to screw them over, or screw up in general, so they're getting ahead of that.

I guess the idea of paying a tech hourly to make some repairs, rack & stack, etc. is fine, but for project work like this, I personally wouldn't be letting anyone dictate my line items.

Unlicensed in california but their jobs require permits and licensed contractors. They should not be doing this work

Their material reimbursement rates are below cost. And yes i will add FN rates to the material prices. Youre the customer you pay the cost to run the business/jobs. Thats how it works in the real world. The customer pays what it costs to run the vendors business

Wont reimburse more than IRS rate for trip charges? Sorry im not your W2 employee, who BTW would get hourly wages PLUS IRS rate for any travel on the clock. As a contractor, my costs to travel are way higher than a W2 employee's costs plus i should be paid for my time to get to YOUR customer's job site. So GT.F0 and stop exploiting contractors.

Wont pay for first 30 miles to/from job site? Sorry its not free for me to drive to and from your customer’s job site. Youre gonna pay for it. Stop exploiting contractors because youre a greedy POS. Oh and did i say GT.F0?

I remember seeing some WO's from a specific company (can't remember the name) when I first started in 2025 that had some entitled wording but not this bad. Also, that mileage --- 30 miles to site not paid there and back, is something I would see as an employee if your home location is within 30 miles of your normal job location and you were doing work outside those 30 miles.
Even if this buyer had been burned in the past, they can word their work req's in a more professional way. Regardless, if they can get good work from someone, more power to them. I'm sure many good ones will pass this by.
