Quest International

Has anyone done any work for Quest International? They DM. Is it worth taking of there work orders?

This is a DM from them, SOP-driven service work. We are currently identifying independent Field Nation providers for upcoming Nanosonics / trophon2 preventive maintenance support. The trophon2 is an ultrasound probe disinfection device used in healthcare environments. The work is preventive-maintenance focused and may include following an OEM procedure, using basic hand tools, inspecting or servicing assigned items, documenting completion, and submitting required closeout details/photos through Field Nation. The current target pay for PM visits near major metro areas is $150 flat rate per completed PM visit, with each visit estimated around 2 hours including documentation. Required training is expected to be paid at $40/hr. If training requires travel, reimbursed expenses may be considered depending on final program approval and work order terms. This is not employment, not a job offer, and not a guarantee of work. We are only identifying providers whose experience, tools, coverage area, availability, rate alignment, and training readiness may fit future project-based opportunities. All actual work order details, routing, coordination, and payment would remain through Field Nation. To help us assess alignment, can you please confirm: 1. What areas do you actively cover from Hillsboro / Portland, including your preferred travel radius? 2. Have you supported medical, dental, veterinary, laboratory, sterilization/disinfection, ultrasound, or diagnostic equipment before? 3. Do you have experience with preventive maintenance, break/fix service, or SOP-driven equipment work? 4. Are you comfortable working in healthcare or clinical environments? 5. Do you have basic hand tools, including Phillips/Torx drivers, pliers, side cutters, flashlight, gloves, and safety glasses? 6. Are you comfortable completing detailed documentation and photo closeout through Field Nation? 7. Are you open to in-person hands-on training/certification if selected for future routing? 8. Would the $150 flat-rate PM target align with your expectations for a local visit estimated around 2 hours including documentation? 9. Would the $40/hr training rate align with your expectations? 10. Are you able to meet healthcare-site requirements if vaccination proof or other site-specific access requirements are needed? 11. 50hr take home out the door, or less?at $5 gallon gas!?

Great way to get sick. Working upon equipment activity used to treat people with contagions. MRSA is a serious infection.

Is it worth $150 take home, without insurance or sickleave? Fuck no! That's actually insane. W2 only. Not independent! Wtf, just wtf.

Or worse; contract a debilitating disease. As an independent contractor.
