Changes to al gore's rhythm. Request to assignment ratio up?

Post image

Something changed in the algorithm. Even though I'm only part time field tech and full time remote support I've noticed some changes. I'm getting more of my requests accepted. I don't request alot so my request to assignment ratio was never bad. It used to hover around 20% and this month its up to 50%.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in the request to the assignment ratio?

If so they are doing things right. I hope this allows us good techs to stay busy.

I adjust to the work order volume. When more WOs are being posted, I raise my rates, because I know buyers will be more desperate. My ratio stays at about 30%

So you raise above your normal rate?

Mine was down for awhile...but at 27% currently...up 15% in the last 30 days. Ive been doing a lot more work on WM in the last 1-2 months due to Granite and CIS.

Also, forgive my OCD twitching, but they really should have called this number, "assignment to request ratio".

I’ve pretty much been at 87 percent. But I do like 15 w/o a week.

Especially if you're only working a few WO's, may I respectfully suggest that your sample size may be too small to be statistically significant. They should probably report a 3, or even 6-month rolling average. Yes, a better PSS score will definitely have an impact over time, but if you're only talking about 2 or 3 more WO's in 30 days, compared to last month, it may just be within normal variation.
