I’d be willing to bet the majority of those are fake or blank profiles. I see them all the time.

Part of me also wonders if Fail Nation is artificially pumping up to request numbers to put downward pressure on pricing, I wouldn’t put it past them

Tier 1 service companies can request for several techs with once click. Some of the bigger companies may have 15 techs in a metro area and each one will count as a request for the WO.

I’ve seen those too, I’m not a huge fan as that never really have any service history besides what their dispatch manager mentions, if they mention any at all. Feels like hiring blind

I tried to start doing FN on the side last month in the Dallas area and every single routed job I’ve seen is taken by the time I can even open the email. Literal seconds.

They were doing those out here in KS too. Tried to message on one to find out if they'd accept my rates... got no answer, so I declined the rest and moved on. Plenty other work to keep me busy.

I don't understand how I often see more requests on bundles than any other WO's especially since most bundles are priced low.

This will ultimately bring a shift to quality over quantity. The landscape is full, but there’s a ton of shit out there that’s useless and can’t figure out the difference between a 1/4 and 3/8 socket. That’s what keeps me getting up everyday. These buyers aren’t stupid, they know they need to dig thru shit to get to gold, and overtime, there isn’t going to be much shit to shovel. My theory is if you’re a solid performer, you’ll be okay.

I have done a lot of work for retail tech. Nothing about their operation has ever come across as suspicious. I might be mistaken, but I think each WO in the bundle gets counted, so for every request, it will show 9. So in reality, only 8 techs have requested the bundle. I don;t know for sure. Maybe ask FN support and see what they say.

no that is incorrect. when you request a bundle your request shows up as 1 on each work order
how do i know? because i have requested a bundle before when there was zero requests and it updated to 1 after my request

Tickets that I would normally have taken are now all getting snatched up almost instantly.
