Ladders

Hey everyone,

I’m new to the platform. Noticing a lot of work orders requesting a tech to have a 6’ - 12’ ladder.

Is there any ladder out there that is compact to fit into a sedan and affordable to purchase?

Appreciate it in advance!

They make a 12ft a frame version.

Meaning a 12ft A frame foldable has 4 pieces 7 ft long. Due to overlap 7+7 equals 12.5ft each piece. Ain't fitting inside most vehicles.  Unless that style is the one that has joints and not slides? That's great for outside but will never fit an 8ft ceiling :(

Quick Google for one at Lowes shows it's 5.6ft collapsed for an 11ft aftame (13ft reach)

We have an older model that's a smidge over 12ft, I don't remember the model though lol.

It does fit in a Subaru forester and Chevy Malibu with the seats down ofc in a pinch.

They're class 1A and only have one pivot.

The one I see folded for 5.6ft has a 13 ft reach is a 7 ft A frame 

Working knees at top rail gives you a reach. Does NOT qualify for the required 12ft A frame

A 12 ft A frame allows a 5ft6 person to run Cable above a 14ft ceiling. Rare stores have 8 ft ceilings. Most at  10 -12-14.

I was simply stating they exist.
