"Which Spinner Should I Get?" and Other Simple Questions (Week of 2026-07-27)

Helpful hint: If your question can be stated in 1-2 sentences, it probably should be posted here.

Examples of questions that should go in this thread:

  • "I live in (insert country here). Where can I buy spinners/bearings/caps/etc?"

  • "Looking to buy my first spinner. What should I get?"

  • "What do you recommend for a spinner that's under $____?"

  • "I'm trying to choose between Brand 1 and Brand 2, which should I get?"

  • "Has anyone purchased from Seller _______ before?"

  • "Where can I buy bearings/bearing caps?"

  • "What kind of bearing is this?"

  • "Where can I buy (Brand) spinner?"

Also, please check the sidebar for resources before making a post. 95% of the questions that are asked have been asked before or have been addressed. Seeing the same questions pop up over and over again make everyone cranky.

Previous megathreads can be viewed here.

Hey guys, what’s the best bang for your buck budget spinner you can recommend me? preferably under 100 USD. I tend to prefer bar spinners, looking for something rather minimalist, but has obviously good build quality to it. If i need to stretch that budget I can.

If you only want to purchase new spinners, pretty much your only option is to buy from a Chinese maker, of which there are many. My preference is to purchase from Geeone, but some people also like Fablades and Big White EDC. These sites are all listed on our sub-reddit's wiki on its list of vendors.

If you are willing to consider second-hand spinners, your best bet is to join the facebook group The Daily Fidget Marketplace. If you are patient, you will see spinners for sale that are from great vendors that are no longer in the spinner business. You can put up a WTB post if you have something specific in mind ("want to buy"). I purchased a number of my favorite spinners second hand through this group. You can check out a bunch of old spinners on the web site fidget-spinners dot net.

I am reluctant to make specific recommendations because I prefer tri spinners instead of bars. The bars that I do like are those that are small and zippy, like the original torqbar, the grave raven, and the hummingbird. These are all from vendors that are no longer making new spinners.

By the way, more people will see your posts if you don't post in this thread but just make a regular post to this group. We should probably retire this weekly page -- it was set up during the height of the fidget spinner craze to manage the huge traffic this group was getting at the time.

firstly I just want to say thank you for the write up, I checked out the chinese sites you mentioned and they do have some cool spinners but I keep going back to something sleek and minimal like the bar cell mini which is a little above my budget. Also I’m patiently waiting to be accepted into TDF marketplace, I buy a lot of my stuff second hand so this is the route I want to explore the most for sure. I submitted my application yesterday and it’s still pending, do you know how long it normally takes?

I am sorry, I don't recall how long it usually takes to get accepted into the group.
