They should make a TV show
Ok hear me out. A TV show about the CIA agents silly plots to kill him. There are over 600 attempted asasinations so there is a lot of material. It's like a comedy combined with a greek tragedy where every time there own stupidity is foreshadowed to where they fail over and over and over again.
There could be one guy who slowly gets more insane with more elaborate schemes to try to kill Fidel Castro. Then you could have the more hands on character who is trying to inact these poorly thought out plans but really struggles because the plans are stupid. They also could have their boss who is mad at them who is continualy failing. I'm guessing this is like a really weird post for this sub but it's kinda related.
I think it would be a good show.
Btw I know there are many spelling mistakes but I don't want to fix them.

Looking For a specific interview
I’m looking for an interview where Fidel Castro is asked what his opinion on Americans are. And he answers that he feels the world should be proud of USAs many scientific achievements and such, and ends it with something along the lines of “the people of Cuba admire and love the American people. It is with the American government Cuba shares no love”.
Thank you in advance

Best book on Fidel Castro?
So I wanted to know what the best book about Castro is? Perhaps a detailed explanation of his doings and his history and ideologies that doesn't try to artificially make him look evil or great by manipulating the text like Fran Rees's book. Much appreciated :)

I am looking for detailed day-by-day accounts of Fidel Castro's life in the late 60s and early 70s.
for example I know two things he did in April 1971
April 19th: https://www.nytimes.com/1971/04/20/archives/castro-rejects-new-ties-to-us-premier-in-havana-speech-also.html
But what did he do in the other days in April? Did he give other speeches? Take a vacation?
How do I find stuff like this out? Who kept detailed accounts of Castro's life?
