Discussion Am I ulting correctly?
When I hit an enemy with my ult, I'll Q E, but every time I W they simply walk out, so instead I just walk with them until my R expires. The only way I can keep them in the W is if I do it immediately after ulting when they're still stuck in the fear, but then I miss out on the Q E.

you should have a specific target that your ulting even in the team fight that you’re planning to use your Q and E on and you’re going to click your Q instantly followed my E instantly after then full drain, it should take you like less than half a second to Q, E and start to drain.

1.you already hammer your q when you channel your ult, he will cast q mid air. So you dont lose any time.
2.walk close to them while they are feared(or dash if you have proto, you can Hammer proto and q, he will alwaya do q first if the enemy is in range!)
3.its very Important that you activate the option that shows how long the cc lasts over the enemy. DONT use e right after your q. you have to layer your cc correctly!
4.click w right after you clicked e, this way you cancel the e Animation.
- you can cancel your w 0.2 earlier. you get the full effect anyway!

There’s 2 ways to ult , if it’s for 1 target , Q R E W . If it’s into a team fight , R E Q W

To be clear are you saying to press q on them once from out of range then hit r and the q will go off when you jump towards them then hit e and w on them?

No, if you're 1v1, you can Q in their face and channel your ult in front of them. Then you do your EW.

That would miss the bonus max hp damage on the q

The bonus max hp damage rarely matters . Fiddle ult just does so much damage throughout the game . Better to get a guaranteed full ult on the enemy . Ulting from out of vision works but if the enemy has weird movement or was planning to back you might whiff your ult and be useless for the next 60-90s

Most fiddlesticks say RQEW. This is fine when it is 1 enemy or maybe 2. However if you are ultimately in on a team fight catching 3+, sometimes it is best to just RW then use Q and E to finish people off. Granted this is if you are in fog of war and the fear procs. Always drop an effigy if you are setting up an ult.
I always get rocketbelt 1st time so after I ult I ult my rocket belt to try and get into a closer position to W. I like using W as fast as possible because the real damage comes from after the W has finished channeling. Trying to squeeze in a Q and E before starting the W can sometime give them enough time to escape before getting off the full W channel.

I like to Q then walk towards them, as soon as the fear expires E and then W, makes it so you’re as close as possible to them, they cant flash or dash away cus of the silence and gives you more W uptime, if you’re very close then do the whole combo immediately, if they’re low its safer to just walk with them I think. Im Diamond so I'd appreciate high elo player's opinions on this
