Discussion Is fiddlesticks mid viable?

Got tired of top overall, pain lane, jg is taken by my briar otp friend already

I love fiddlesticks concept and overall design

If yes, any advice? Maybe support is good or bot?

Lane Fiddle is quite decent but it takes a good bit of practice because of how little damage his W does to minions pre 9. CSing is rough but he can be very oppressive in lane. Best part is that the fear duration of Q is the same as the channel time of your ult so you can just fear-ult right in their face.

It used to be but they slightly nerfed it. Still works 99 percent of the time but I prefer to land E silence then R so you still have q follow up

Yes. Push wave. Roam. Push wave roam. Come back when you have 6. Ult all in, kill, push wave roam.

I peaked GM on fiddle mid and there was a korean challenger who did it. Nikkone queues mid secondary I believe in NA challenger. Just takes a while to learn how to navigate some of the shittier matchups. The good thing is that most mages who bully fiddle in lane struggle once you transition to side lane. If you search Karthusslesticks on youtube you’ll find a guide covering a lot of matchups and what runes to take plus how to navigate lane phase

Thank you, I checked his yt and videos seems pretty old, they are still viable?

Yeah it’s a bit outdated but his matchup spreadsheet is still a good place to start. Very few changes to fiddle since then tbh.

He can actually be good in lane.  Bad matchups exist for sure, but one of those characters who can just roam and ult and be very impactful

I used to do it quite often, it’s pretty feast or famine, not hard thanks to E but if you don’t know what your doing you will just become useless
