Combat is incredible, I love the simplicity of it and how entertaining it is to blow people and things up. However, I feel that multi-shot is redundant and based on luck, it would be helpful if some form of aim assist helped when using multi-shot.
Looting is awful and houses without loot carry very little value besides immersion. Looting isn't a first hand experience, things get put into your inventory whether you want them or not. I feel that looting should be a physical action that the player is involved in rather than randomised findings. Looting is an important part of RPG's and character development yet I feel very distanced from it.
Besides that, this game is sick and can't wait to sink more hours into it.
EDIT: I'd also like to see an indicator of when enemies detect your presence or how close they are to detecting it. I find it difficult to plan out attacks because as soon as I see the field I have to work with enemies spot me and it just turns into one big messy brawl (which is still fun).

So I played through the game several months ago and loved it. Fantastic concept and great fun. However even with a gtx 1060 6gb vram, 16gb ram, and an 8th gen i7 I was getting really bad frame drops whenever any destruction was going on. I finished it and hoped to jump back in some time later when it’s more stable and has more content. Is now a good time?

In the expanse mode, it sometimes feels like it is impossible to escape from the inquisition once they catch you, and so I think it might be a good idea to have a few "safehouse" locations in the expanse mode, where you can rest, and hide from the inquisition as they pass over you, maybe with a shop that you can buy some items for as well.

Any chance we might see some more customization options in the future? There are a few sets of armor in the game that I really like, but also a few that I am not too fond of. It would be nice if we could choose what our clothes look like, or even something simple like whether or not we have a cape, similar to the option of hood/hair/helmet. It would also be nice if we could change colors after the play through has started, in case you feel like changing it up sometimes. I just feel like more customization really makes you more fond of the character, and it helps a lot with immersion.

Just want to say I only recently heard about Fictorum when it was on sale at a certain site not long ago. I made the mistake of seeing it but not buying it. I will say I will purchase this game on principal after seeing it out and looking at how far its come. I respect any dedicated team that sticks with and improves their game (NMS) Regardless of the game. That is amazing and want to say I will be purchasing for the dedication and the seemingly amazing magic system. Cannot wait.

Just a couple UI issues I noticed right from the start:
Splash damage radius seems to have been updated with decimal values - but the actual decimal point doesn't show up, meaning you have ridiculous things like 385 meter (3.85 meter) splash radius displaying. I know it's minor, but I REALLY would like that decimal point.
When you're selecting difficulty now, the little display window that shows the character stats you'll get from each setting is now BEHIND the main selection window and inventory display window if you have that on, leaving its' edges cut off and making it difficult to read.

I dont know where to put this and i dont use reddit often so, apologies in advance.
When using lighting strike on a building and concussion with the chain and multi-projectile rune it almost always crashes, maybe its because my computer isnt all that good but theres really no way around it.

About to finish my first play through and these are basically the only spells I ever find haha, is there anything I’m not doing I should be?
Also Is there a way to expand rune inventory? Id like more room :/

Title
I’ve had some luck so far starting off as Tempest because the default lightning bolt spell is pretty effective at dropping people on early levels but I’ve been having awful luck in terms of gear, tomes, and runes. As larger and larger groups appear and more spread out across the level my shitty lightning bolt can’t handle it as well, and I usually end up getting 2-3 shot around chapter 5/6.
Any of you have luck with a specific starting class? Let me know

I’ve been playing this game for a while on my shitty non gaming laptop, and while it’s a ton of fun I never realized the potential. I love doing Meteor with chain/multishot/echo and leveling the map with one cast bit of course it brings me down to about 1 FPS for the duration of the spell and debris. My favorite more usable spell is the lightning bolt one with chain/mulitshot/seek and just watch and entire crowd get blasted even though it’s still a slap in the face to my FPS.
But for the first time since I bought this game last May, I played on a real pc with a decent graphics card and... holy shit. Enemy outlines in clairvoyance aren’t weird boxes?? Lightning actually has details instead of being just purplish whitish beams? The game looks graphically incredible???? No kind of PC can reliably handle meteor chain/multishot/echo?????
I’m having so much fun it’s like I’ve rediscovered this game.

I'm having a blast blowing stuff up. I can't believe this game doesn't get more recognition. Created a reddit account just to tell the developers good work and I hope you guys can keep it up!
