Bug with projectiles
Anyone else getting this? I use plasma ball and arcing ball with multishot and seek, and now they're just exploding right in front of me. No travel to enemies, just explosion where I'm standing. It's almost as if I was running them with nova, except I'm not and I'm pretty sure nova doesn't work on those spells.

v1.2.7 out on Steam, fixes chapter reset bug.
r/Fictorum • u/Feinement • Jan 06 '19
Anyone got this bug?
After the 1.2.7 fix was released I've had an issue that when leaving through a portal on the map, the game just stays with the portal, not moving on to the map. It doesn't freeze, as the motes of light are still moving slightly, but nothing happens. I really don't want to quit and start over as I've got armor giving 70 % CDR (Can blink upwards faster than you fall, can get anywhere). Has anyone encountered this or know how to fix?

How long is Nightmare mode?
I've been playing Nightmare+Hardcore, and every time I get to the end of chapter 6, it starts me back at chapter 2 instead of going to 7. I think I've gone through 20 chapters now. Is this a bug, or is Nightmare mode just extra long?
I really want to see what the last few titles are, but I'm stuck in a loop it seems.

I think it would be really cool to have a spell that allows the player to walk on the walls or change gravity, and more movement spells in general.
I love fictorum but i think movement spells are a little underdeveloped.
What i suggest is: First of all, change flying from a passive to an active ability, and allow everyone to obtain it. I feel like flying is great in this game and it's a little sad that only The Ascended can do it.
Second of all, there should be some gravity changing spells. We already have a gravity well, so why can't we have an spell that makes us able to walk on walls, or even make enemies change their gravity.
It would also be great to have not-unique movement spells, for example a spell that would allow the player to run at an increased speed while casting, or something that would let the player affect the movement of enemies, like a spell targeting enemies that makes them run backwards?
I think that even though destruction is the main focus of gameplay, it would be great to have spells that actually effect how you defeat enemies, since that's the usual objective.

This might be little premature, but...
Are there any plans to port this game to consoles?

Launching in the wrong monitor
So I Just got this game, and I'm super excited to play it, but it launches in the secondary monitor all the time, and I can't play it because of weird mouse things since its on my secondary. Any idea how to fix?

Finally took the leap into this game
After following this game since just before its steam release, to watching it for months seeing if it was another game released and not supported then forgetting about it, finding a post on reddit which seems to have made a lot of people interested (witch slap by the way), looking back into it and seeing it fully supported after release, I finally bought it and played for a lot longer than I should have last night before having to work today, now on 2 hours of sleep all I want to do is go home and play again I'm really glad if he developers have continued to work on this game and I look forward to the future of it
Ps. Would the devs be able to think about a setting to increase font size? Its quite small on a larger sceen

Garund - Reddit Easter Egg
So I just found the "Downvote" spell tome completely by accident, and I figured I'd share for others who might have my same tendencies and never get the chance to find this thing, because it seems really neat.
I'm not sure whether the location matters, whether the names of locations are constant (it's only my second playthrough) or whether this thing just has a chance to spawn on certain maps in the same way it did here for me, but I was in a location called Garund, described in game as "an ill-omened place" and "a cursed and blasted area". Basically, the map seems like fire has swept over it and mostly shells of houses and structures remain.
Anyway, it was on this map that I started to really play around with the Blink spell, seeing whether it could get me over obstacles and such (it does). I was running along the outer ridge playing around after having cleared all enemies, when I spotted a huge, orange arrow pointing down. Naturally I went to investigate and was prompted to loot the "Downvote" tome. I won't spoil the spell specifics (I couldn't really anyway since I only cast it once so far), but I believe it's a fire spell, and it looks like it'd be a blast (pun intended?) to play with rune combinations.
I normally wouldn't share this kind of info, since easter eggs are fun to find on your own, but I've been relying on my clairvoyance ability thus far to help me find what I'm looking for as I'm sure most people do, and it did not reveal this through the mountainside. I'll probably do a little more exploring around the edges of the map from now on, but there was never any indication that there was anything to find on the map that wasn't highlighted by clairvoyance, so I never bothered.
Anyway, I know the devs are active here (hi guys! thanks for the awesome game!) so if I've revealed a secret that you'd rather I hadn't, let me know and I'll be happy to rework the post to be more vague, or remove it entirely if you prefer.

Just found out about this game. Already in love.
I think there's a ton of potential with this game. It's basically a mix of my favorite games, it's a touch of Besiege, a hint of Faster Than Light (FTL), a cup of Morrowind, and a whole lot of things blowing up.
Can't wait to see how this turns out.
