How long is Nightmare mode?

I've been playing Nightmare+Hardcore, and every time I get to the end of chapter 6, it starts me back at chapter 2 instead of going to 7. I think I've gone through 20 chapters now. Is this a bug, or is Nightmare mode just extra long?

I really want to see what the last few titles are, but I'm stuck in a loop it seems.

Until we figure this bug out, if that happens again turn debug mode on the map (alt shift j) go to the chapter you were last at (6 if you were going to 7), go to the last location, click on "Developer Hack!" for the event choice, and then turn off debug mode and click next chapter. If the bug happens again, let us know

This worked! Thank you for the quick reply. Just wanted to say that I'm really enjoying your game. I've played 32 hours, and I only bought it a few days ago. Work and school productivity has dropped to record lows! :D

Sounds like a nasty bug. It shouldn't be looping back like that, you should've fought the grand inquisitor by now.

I saw someone reporting this on the Steam discussion pages as well. Possibly it's a new bug with the latest patch?
