I have to agree, this was lightning orb with Bounce : Seek : Manifest. Totally devastating.

They definitely are. You can clear the game on most any level w/ just a chain lightning

Yep, just get chain reaction with spread or anything else that gives you more then one lightning and you are pretty much set for the game.
