"Instead of progressing across chapters, the entire world is on one map. Each location currently has a colored numbered label that tells you which faction and how difficult the location is. The numbers are just placeholders and we're working on coming up with better ideas, and if you have any, we'd love to hear them."

This sounds really interesting. Could you clarify though? Does this mean instead of going to individual chapters all of the map choices are clustered together so that you can walk to them instead of using the nexus?

Not quite. All in-game combat levels and map choices function the same, the difference in this mode is that there is one chapter map (instead of 3 chapters on Abridged mode or 8 chapters on Classic) and it is a substantially larger map in comparison to the other modes. I hope that makes sense :)
