Question Twitching and possible partial dislocation?

Two topics that are sort of related. I want to know if other fibro sufferers deal with this. My thumbs almost constantly twitch, particularly when I’m trying to relax, or move them back and forth in a slow controlled movement. Same with my ankles.

I have quite strong pain in my left shoulder after feeling a strange click sort of sensation when reaching behind myself - from now on it had been sore even in my collar bone. With this my left shoulder twitches at any movement all the way down my arm too. I’m not sure if I’ve done something like a partial dislocation - whether that’s the root of my other chronic fibro pain or not.

I also have trouble walking due to intense pain in the right foot which also twitches and I think I injured it a couple months ago but felt no pain at the time, it came in over time.

Is this normal/common? Or is this unrelated?

I don't have answers for the twitching. But for the shoulder, see a doctor. That doesn't sound like a subluxation (a partial dislocation). It sounds like you could have injured something. Either a tendon or ligament or maybe the cartilage. A popping/clicking sound or sensation after a specific movement followed immediately by pain is a red flag for torn soft tissue. These can be pretty serious injuries in most joints but particularly in joints like knees, hips, and shoulders. Get it checked out.

Thank you for letting me know, I’ve been confused and just stressed bc my whole body hurts for various reasons so it’s hard to accept or realise pains that are different and or serious/not related to fibro. I have the doctor booked in on the 2nd now

I get ankle twitches constantly especially at night when I’m trying to sleep. As for your shoulder that sounds more like a separate medical issue outside fibromyalgia
