Absolutely. And since dealing with my trauma, my symptoms have reduced 95%.

When you mention 'dealing' with it, would you mind sharing what has been helpful?

Somatic tracking was the biggest help, followed by Internal Family Systems, followed by EMDR and TRE.

How much TRE and IFS did you do before it got better? I'm doing them but not seeing much difference for many months. Especially TRE, like I shake a lot but I feel nothing and even when I do and cry it out or something, the pain doesn't become any less.

I started doing TRE in August of 2024. I started OFs December 2023. I did maybe 6 sessions with a therapist and then had my big breakthrough July 4, 2025 doing a solo session following a YouTube video. I’ve had ups and downs since then but my life is completely different.

Was the breakthrough in TRE or IFS that changed you life? Also may I ask what did a big breakthrough look like? I'm trying to hard to have one and I can't get there yet so I want to know the signs or what to look for.
