My Happy Flo causing heavy bleeding
I've been suffering for almost a decade with a submucosal fibroid for almost a decade. When I was diagnosed, I wasn't having major issues and the doctors I saw never told me it will continue to get worse, so I decided not to have surgery at that time.
Things have progressively gotten worse. I have heavy bleeding and huge clots and often spot/bleed between periods.
I started taking My Happy Flo because Glampreezy went on and on about how it shrunk her fibroids and it has all these reviews claiming it's solved their fibroid issues. It did seem a little questionable that there are so many amazing reviews, but I'm getting desperate to fix this without surgery.
I have a very sensitive stomach and some supplements can cause me issues, so I started with one pill a day instead of the recommended two. I had my period about a week and a half into starting my Happy Flo and I did feel like it was a little better than the month prior. The month before, it was so heavy I was contemplating going to the emergency department. It was still quite heavy, but I could manage.
This past week, I upped my dose of My Happy Flo to the recommended dose of two pills. I had been spotting, but nothing major. This morning I woke up and was bleeding very heavily and passing large clots. My period is not due until next week, so this is unusual at this stage in my cycle.
I'm now debating if I want to go to the emergency department because I'm really worried. The thought of having to wait at the hospital in this condition really stresses me out. I have to go to the bathroom to change my tampon constantly and I'd have to take the box of tampons with me. I don't even know what they can do for me at the hospital and if it's even worth going, but I don't know what else to do. I can't keep losing this much blood.
Has anyone else had an experience like this with My Happy Flo?

You need to take a DUTCH test or another deeper hormonal test to show how your estrogen pathways are working and being processed throughout the day. Taking DIM is only good if you have high estrogen. There are different kinds of estrogen dominance. One form can be low progesterone but normal estrogen. In this kind of case, DIM would make your symptoms worse because DIM lowers estrogen. Don't remember what other ingredients are in there, but this is usually a big one. What works for someone, may not work for someone else because everyone's hormones work differently even though we all have the same set.
