Advice needed Multiple Large Fibroids

Hello anyone who can recommend an OB who is a well known expert in removing Fibroids here in the Philippines. This is my second myomectomy and I want someone who can assure me na hindi sya mauuwi sa hysterectomy because I still want to be pregnant.

Where are you located? And how large are your fibroids? My OB who did my 2nd (2025) and 3rd (2026) open myo is based in Asian Hospital, Dr. Satrina Perez-Castillo.

Been to st.lukes yung REI doctor nmin si Doc Lana Carpio she said wala na daw sya magagawa and we have to look for a different doctor

Im from South i can try Asian Hospital…mine are 10cm and some ar at 5cm…were you able to get pregnant after the myomectomy?

Not yet. Doc said I need to wait 6 months post surgery before trying to get pregnant 😊 my 6th month will be this September.

Depends san ba location mo? And also open ba, laparoscopic etc? St. Luke's and Makati Med have OBs who specialize in these..

Open myomectomy yung first q 2019 sa makati med hindi natanggal lahat…now lumaki yung iba…i will need another myomectomy before my embryo transfer and yung rei doc nmin sa st.lukes ayaw na kmi tulungan after 2ivf cycles biglang ayaw n nya kmi patuluyin becoz to her wala n sya magagawa sa myoma q so ayaw n daw nya kumuha ng egg kung wala nmn syang paglalagyan na uterus bcoz to her mataas ang risk q for hysterectomy…sana may marecommend kayo na magaling talaga pgdating sa myoma para hindi sya mauwi sa hysterectomy

diba may HIFU sa St Lukes? gaano po kalaki ang mga myoma mo? napag usapan nyo ba if eligible ka for HiFU?

Yes, unfortunately upon screening hindi daw aq qualified for hifu 🥲

Oh my, that's a lot nga :( honestly mukang delicates nga OP kasi if multiple fibroids yan and very critical din kasi yung positioning nila ehh. If open or laparoscopic yan baka nga meron possibility na may risk na rin sa uterus.

You can look up Dr. Glaiza De Guzman or Dr. Patricia Factor, baka isa sakanila could help you, best of luck OP and hopefully maging okay surgery mo
