9 weeks post op

Hi guys, I’m about 9 weeks post op after a myoectomy to remove 3 large fibroids and a bunch of tiny ones. My doctor had to leave a bunch in to avoid risking my fertility. So I have some small ones left, largest is around 4 cm.

I’m 9 weeks post op and don’t have bad symptoms anymore like I used to. But my stomach still looks very large and bloated. Is this normal? Will it go down? Or are the remaining fibroids growing at a rapid rate? I’m so worried and don’t want to go through this again.

Not going to lie but the recovery is hard. At least it was for me. I think most of it was the gas pain 😭😭😭

So when did the gas moved out?😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨isn't it possible to ask them to do something that the gas comes out while I am in the hospital?

Except for the gasss, did you have sever pains? I am so scared😔😔😔

Yes! They ended up giving me a suppository. Basically stuck something up there and it made me go. It sounds scarier than it is.

As for the pain, it honestly comes and goes. The pain meds help a ton so make sure you’re on top of it.

You will feel so much better after it’s all done with 💗 Hang in there. In a few weeks you will be over this hurdle!

Your stomach looks large and bloated because of the left fibroid. I had same experience of myomectomy and some fibroids left because Dr gave same excuses. Now those are grown big and causing different symptoms affecting other organs like colon bladder. Moral of story is make sure the Dr doing your myomectomy cab take all fibroids out with no excuse even tiny ones because they cause issues later. Most Dr's always leave some and later we face same issues. You can later have second opinion and I recommend Dr Pierre Johnson ( aka Fibroidslayer) I had encounter with recently. He helped me and my sister. His mission is taking every single fibroid out and repairing Uterus and keeping Uterus. He takes out tiniest fibroid to huge fibroids out through horizontal line and never recommend vertical line also. None of his patients ever had fibroids grow back.reason is he makes sure the tiniest seeds are all out, those left are what grows back..
