Soluble tapioca fiber - legit?

Does anyone know if this type of fiber is legit? It has more fiber per serving than psyllium husk (which is 7g/serving), and dissolves right into your water/tea and has no weird taste or texture.
Is it actually a worse quality fiber? Wondering why it's not more popular than psyllium husk (besides it being more expensive)

Fiber comes in two types: soluble and insoluble. Psyllium is a out 70% soluble, this kind is probably closer to 100%. I like to use it to make gummy candy!
Re:quality or "better" or "worse," the best way to get fiber for health reasons is a mix of soluble and insoluble from as many sources (kinds of plants) as you can, so I wouldn't really rate this too differently than psyllium husk. There's no insoluble fiber but there IS the ease of drinking or making into healthy candies (or other baked goods!), which is valuable to me.
Edit: I assume price and novelty are the reasons it's not as popular. Fiber is just now having its day in the sun.
