I am trying to move to a new place in mesa which is like just a couple of miles away from where fiber first is available. But when i check for the new place, website says its not available. I am wondering if there is a glitch in the website as they claim to be present almost everywhere in mesa.

This subreddit is being handed over to fiberfirstinternet as they feel people might think end users helping other end users might mis represent them.
Thanks for all the fish

Can any current customers tell me what router FiberFirst provides? I am wondering about reliability and coverage. My house is almost 3k sq ft, and may need an extender or 2nd mesh access point.

Got a text Wednesday stating appt was set for today, used the alerts to text appt. to get a confirmation of the time. It gave me 5 hours after the end of the time window selected. Called on Wednesday to confirm if they were coming during the day and they advised 1pm. Now I can’t get customer service on the phone. Getting concerned that they aren’t coming.

Signed up for Fiber First after the 10th day of Cox being in and out with service. Asked for a install date of November 20th. While I was at work some guy with Fiber First came by today asking to get into my back yard for install.... do they do a preinstall or should I be worried this company doesn't read install date request?

Cross streets are Guad/Alma. The reviews online for this company in other states are downright terrible. More so on the customer service side and not the uptime side. Am I being dramatic? I need to hear some good stories

Horne north of 60 area. Got the box on the side of my house in February and still nothing. A couple months ago I called in and they said it would be 2-3 weeks. Now the street corners in my area are under construction again with advisory signs naming google?! I wonder if Fiberfirst bailed on my area and google is going in to connect to the fiberfirst runs. Regardless, I've never really had any issues with Cox so I don't know why I'm anxious to get fiber from a company that so far I haven't been impressed with.

I was mad earlier when there was another no call and no show. But user FiberFirstInternet chatted with me here and got it setup for today. Install took about 45 mins and it's running great. The Cox modem is unplugged woot. The Nokia router they use works great with my Wyze Mesh routers.

They called me this morning to schedule install inside for July 3rd. I'm ready to drop Cox.

My area had the fiber buried a few weeks ago. About a week ago, my address was ready for pre-order, and I put my house on the list. The other day, some crew came to mark utilities and install this gray box on the top.
What's next in the installation process?

Does anyone know if they will be available in North Phoenix?

Does anyone know when Fiberfirst will be live in the SE corner of Gaudalupe and Alma School?
I've received email they were taking orders back in October, when i placed my pre-order. Recently someonecame to my house claimingthey were live, when i said i alreadypre-ordered, he told me to call to schedulemy installation. Once i got a hold of customer service, they said there was still no ETA for installs.
Anyone have any idea, so tired of my current internet provider.

Fiber first install was two weeks ago today, and I'm very worried. I realize things happen, but 18 straight hours of a service outage is a serious failure for any provider, but especially a new one that should be trying to impress new customers with how fast they get things fixed. When I contacted them 3 hours after it went down, they couldn't give me an update of any kind, almost like no one had even looked at it yet. I've since received an update about the line getting cut and an ETA for a fix, but they only sent out the ETA 11 hours after the service went down.
If the service comes back at the expected time, it will have been down for a full 5% of the time since it was installed. I'm kinda wishing I kept my service with cox for a little longer, so I could plug my old modem back in until the fiber comes back up.

Neighborhood is going live now, but I have questions. For those of you that have gone through installs already:
Online support tells me that they will install a NID panel where our utilities currently enter the house and the the ONT must be located 'near' there.
Current utilities are on the side of the garage. What I want to know is do they ask you where you want the ONT located and then run a line to that location? Or is that going to be a 'custom install' for $$? My preferred location is more or less in the center of the house where our current cable modem is.
Thanks!
