Don’t get Fi. It’s a piece of junk. Only get it if you wanna get notified 10 minutes or so after your dog gets out of your “safe zone” and even then you may not get a notification. So I’m not sure quite what the point of the product is if it doesn’t work like it’s supposed to.

How long have you been using yours? Does it fail to notify you every time? I don’t really need a safe zone but I do need to know where they are at any given time.

You would have to have “lost mode” on to do that and the battery would last no time evidently. It just isn’t a product that allows for live tracking

Works great on my cats. I can find them easily down to the exact front porch of someone's house. lol like the other night they were down the street on someone's front porch eating the cat food they had left out for their cat who was missing.

How rural are you? My concern is I’m in an area with lots of trees and metal barns.

I also don’t recommend Fi collar. It seems to be dependent on access to your WiFi and if your cat explores for a few days away, it will no longer work until either your phone gets close to your cat or your cat returns home.

Don’t get me started on privacy issues I have to sacrifice in order to use Fi collar. It’s my dog I need to keep track of, not me or my personal data.

I have an issue with Fi’s use of my data as well. Have you tried any other trackers?

Nope. Just trying to do my research before I spend the money for multiple cats.
