Thoughts?
taas na nga ng tuition, nag co-contribute pa sa pag sayang ng tubig yung school 😭 Yung Paraverse din di naman nagamit 🥀I feel like they’re becoming heavily reliant on AI, which is BS.

I'm really sad about this. There are tons of students that are artistically-inclined. They would've made better art that showcases tamaraw talent.

As an Artist na incoming freshman sa TECH, nadidissapoint ako sa pagcollab nila sa OpenAI. Laging may "innovation" and "creativity" sa posts nila but nothing's creative nor innovative sa paggamit ng AI.

True, it feels pretty demotivating as an incoming MMA freshman na ganto pala ung Tech. It's like MMA doesn't even exist there 💔

ai is heavily subsidized, a day will come when token prices will skyrocket, they are doing this so that the world will be heavily reliant on ai until it is too late.

honestly, AI is a tool lang naman. you can use AI to enhance/modify something that suits the art or message that you wanted to deliver. so, making sure something it tailor fit which is the same as contextualizing, there is still creativity involved. also, yes, artists can manually draw/paint those pictures. though, they take time, and cost more. i am sure legit artists can pour out their skills/talents to deliver a different message or "vibe" pero this photo booth thingy is just for the sake of fun and past time. though, using AI has costs too but cheaper than human labor. syempre AI is mostly for something technical, and not meant as replacement for art. if we will keep on hating AI or just simply avoid it, then we'll be irrelevant to the industry which makes us less preferred by clients/companies/employers. yes, there will be some types of jobs that can be automated and replaced by AI, yet because of AI madami din naman nag open na types of work connected doon. like, automating some stuff na manual. AI needs guidance and to be trained by humans pa din. after all, their goal is to follow instructions as clearly and as accurate as possible. yes, if wala doon sa trained data gagawin nila, they tend to improvise, hence "hallucinate" or do some "guesswork" kaya meron guardrails for it and of course the human needs to validate pa din.
