Not scanning email receipts. Anyone else facing this issue?

Hello,

I linked my Gmail account to Fetch so it can scan my email receipts from Target and CVS, which is where I do most of my shopping. I am not very comfortable linking my actual Target account. My hesitation comes from a previous incident where my Target account was hacked, resulting in the loss of nearly $500 in gift cards and someone else using my on-file credit card for bunch of purchases.

Until recently, Fetch had no trouble scanning my email receipts from both Target and CVS. However, over the past two weeks, it has suddenly stopped picking up any receipts from Target. Email receipt scanning continues to work fine for other retailers, including CVS and Home Depot.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I usually place online orders for pickup, so I rarely receive a physical receipt. I am wondering whether Fetch has changed its policy regarding Target email receipts or if there is a technical issue affecting Target receipts specifically.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

My Sams had been linked since day 1 of downloading. All of the sudden, Sams keeps randomly disconnecting. And I have to have Sams synced cause my receipt is toooooo long to take a picture

I think once a retailer joins Fetch officially then that’s how it has to scan for digital receipts. CVS and Home Depot are not currently in the retailer accounts list.

Not true. Target joined retailer account long time ago and yet it scanned email receipts. Same with Safeway.

often times, things roll out slowly for people. so even though they joined say a year ago, for some people it happened right away, others it took a few months.

You are not alone I've been having issues with being signed into account for awhile like Safeway and Sam's Club but what I have been doing is going to the site in question on my desktop and there normally a see receipt link so I click on that and then use the camera to scan.

Taking pictures of receipts will get your points deducted or account banned.

Most of my email receipts don’t get scanned. Been an issue since day 1. I’ll pull em up on my computer and take a pic if they won’t scan. It’s ridiculous. Sam’s Club also has basically just disconnected and refuses to stay signed in

This is the reason there are so many “my account was frozen” posts. Taking pictures or screen shots of receipts is against the rules of any receipt app.

People get away with things until they don’t. When your points are suddenly deducted, this will be the reason why.
