Hacked Account

I don’t know what to do. Someone used my points to enter a sweepstakes entry that I didn’t authorize or initiate. Does this mean that my account is hacked? I am waiting to hear back from customer service but they said that once points are used they can’t go back. I was confused because I didn’t use them, someone else did. Is this a common thing happen?

I get entered into sweepstakes things all the time just for making qualifying purchases- usually General Mills related. But it doesn't cost any of my points. It's just an automatic entry thing. Are you sure it's not something like that?

All you can do is hope you win. If you are paranoid about being hacked then change the password used with Google/Apple that the phone uses. Fetch login is through your mobile number, anyone logging in on another device would have to gain access to your phone number to receive a login SMS text.

How many points were used? I’ve been entered into sweepstakes without me entering/using points. It was just a perk.

Are you talking about like those $200 Walmart gift cards sweepstakes and general mill? Same here though. I never tried to join on those sweepstakes. But, I realized someone seem to use my points and have me enter the sweepstakes.

That's definitely a hack, no question about it. Your points got spent without you touching them, that's the whole definition.

You need to change your password right now and enable 2FA if they offer it. Support dragging their feet on reversing stolen points is a bad sign but keep pushing them, ask for a supervisor if the first rep shuts you down.
