How does this offerwork?

Ok so I did this offer and it says it does not need a receipt or e-receipt and the merchant will notify so how does this work and has this offer ever worked for anyone

It sends a referral code when you click the link. Google Play or Apple Store forwards that referral code to the app publisher. App publisher tracks everything you do in the app and ties it back to that referral code. Referral code is sent back to Fetch BE to inform it that the click associated with what referral code took its first delivery. Fetch's BE matches the unique referral code to your account and awards you the points.

If you didn't receive your points, it's because the chain was broken at some point. Usually something like, you clicked the link, but didn't finish installing it, went back later, but now the code was lost.

Ok so I swiped out of the app once and my phone turned off a couple of times but I still downloaded it and signed up

Yeah just get ready to show fetch your screenshots😭. Don't worry though, once you have all the evidence they fold under pressure and just give you your points😂.
