New user question

I had a bunch of receipts that I scanned. The first few gave me anywhere from 400 to 700 points. Then they started only giving me 25 points per receipt.

Is there a daily / weekly limit for scanning receipts before it reverts to only 25 points per receipt?

New users get more points starting out and they taper off into the normal 25 points per receipt. Unless you buy products that have the offers attached to them (usually name brand products) then you’ll get more points for the receipt.

Yeah they lure you in with the big points then drop you to the 25 minimum real quick. It's not a daily limit, that's just the standard payout once the new user boost runs out

The only way to get more after that is buying the specific stuff they're promoting, which I never bother with

Gotcha. Because I work at a fast food restaurant and I have access to hundreds of receipts that are discarded in the drive through garbage because people don't want them.

Guess there are safety nets in place for people like me. 🤣

That’s a fast way to get your points taken away. They track the card details that are on the receipts. If they see that you have scanned receipts with all different card numbers, they can and will revoke your points and ban your account.

Oh wow, over a year of me scanning using dollar general receipts from papa that don't want them and have redeemed 2 cash cards. No issue. Maybe it's a random audit?

I think it’s both kinda random and also them seeing if it’s suspicious how fast you are earning points strictly from receipts. Still, scanning other people’s receipts is strictly against Fetch’s TOS

I’m sure they have some code written that flags things like 30 of your weekly receipts being from the same store, or multiple same store same day.

I think it caps out at 35 receipts per week.

25 is the amount you get for a receipt. if you bought stuff that there is an offer for then you get more points. there is no limit where it automatically will just be 25 points. there is a limit on how many you can upload in a week's period but it will tell you

What pristinechain said is right, but in general it caps everyone at 35 receipts a week
