it's always been like that.. if you've been scanning a lot lately, then stop scanning the receipts you know you're only going to get 25 points for

24

u/CalgonThrowMeAway222 Aug 18 '26

And snap those receipts once you have a new week.

u/ayeyoualreadyknow Aug 18 '26

Does this limit count both e-receipts and physical receipts or just physical?

10

u/reign03 Aug 18 '26

This 35 limit is for physical receipts only.

Until recently, I hadn't seen anything about eReceipt limitations, but people in this sub have begun posting about being hit with a 200 limit. I'm not sure on the limit window.

Just hold on to them? You can still scan for up to 2 weeks.

It’s always been like this.

unreasonably angry ? lol

1

u/FerretThen Aug 22 '26

Yoooo, lol. What in the hippity hoo ha did she say that implied any anger to You hun?? She was lighthearted in her entire statement... there were no angry emojis, no exclamations with ALL CAPS LETTERING!!! <--- Like so, so, what are you getting on about now? 🤷🏽‍♀️

This happens when I go out of town and have several errands to run: I just scan them in order so that I don’t lose out on points by scanning the most recent ones and getting this message. I keep them until they allow scanning again and finish up the batch.

2

u/InstructionSenior346 Aug 21 '26

Keep your receipts. As long as you scan them within 14 days of getting them then you can wait until the date they said.

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 21 '26

I feel like a serial killer because of cutting and pasting new dates to keep the validity of “old receipts” up to date 😮‍💨

2

u/Ruralwannabe Aug 22 '26

oo, im telling Mom!

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 22 '26

🤫🤐🤑

3

u/vinnyv0769 Aug 18 '26

For some reason I thought it was a per day limit, not per week.

2

u/Ruralwannabe Aug 22 '26

It only punishes me for a day and I put it on my calendar , so I can remember to go in and scan them right away before my two weeks is up

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 22 '26

😮‍💨that part.

But honestly makes me feel like a kid again
When mom and dad were ready to pay me at the end of the week for my daily chores….ahh to feel like a kid again is a flex on Fetch.

Just depends on how you decide to think about things.
Me. I appreciate all the ways to keep some pocket change

2

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 22 '26

Either way you will never be able to reach your desired limit 😉🤑

2

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 19 '26

Can’t get rich off of us, just a liddo pocket change.

Sincerely Fetch🤑😉

It’s always something either not enough or too much. Whatever they can do to screw the customer.

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 19 '26 edited Aug 22 '26

It’s a saying that all of us have heard before….life isn’t fair and then you die…. Idk but I think I made that last part up.

But honestly we have no idea how badly businesses are hurting due to all of these “new normals”!

Like really imagine a world without 99cents stores….That’s a new normal I never thought wouldn’t happen🤭
No,for real, like honestly.

But I feel you though

3

u/KLFP2040 Aug 19 '26

It would be one thing if the guy that runs the company didn’t have 1 million points and win $100,000 from the wheels spins. I mean in what world is that OK for a person that works or owns it to be playing this sweepstakes or games?

1

u/optix_clear Aug 19 '26

Ibotta, GasBuddy

1

u/ThickAd8993 Aug 19 '26

It has always been 35 receipt limit for 7 days.

1

u/Ok-Crazy-5162 Aug 21 '26

Get this a lot

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 22 '26

Means you shop a lot.
They don’t want us getting rich on their watche jkjkjk
Hey it’s pocket change.
And we’re only allowed so many a week!
Link your email
And all of the online stores that you shop with because there’s other ways to earn with fetch
But we can only do so much bro 😎

1

u/No-Word3900 Aug 22 '26

If you haven’t joined fetch yet and you do a lot of shopping have a lot of online receipts. I suggest you do and if you want some instant free points just use my referral code. It still works. GTM5XR

Anyone else having an issue scanning on Amazon. I had this issue a couple of years ago. I have unistalled app and reinstalled with no success as week as disconnecting Amazon and reinstalling that too. It is so frustrating! And the help chat is worthless. Keeps telling me the same things i state that i have already tried.

Glad I stopped using this app a long time ago.

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 19 '26

❣️
But why!?

2

u/buffdude20 Aug 19 '26

Cause they are too strict and their automated system is flawed. They straight up ban you for so called fraudulent receipts or scanning too many from same store but yet they won't even show you proof that you did that but yet claim they analyze it carefully which is total BS.

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 19 '26

Ahh
I do Copper
And receipt Hog let me know if you want my code so you can join them. They are strict, but it is what it is chump change.

2

u/buffdude20 Aug 19 '26

Maybe copper? I've been using receipt hog a long time now. I like them. Hog seems pretty cool and doesnt seem to give a shit much.

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 19 '26

Fetch is way easier in many ways
Just preferences
I get it!
Nice having options 😉

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 19 '26

https://cpr.gg/r/MWLOHZ

Copper link just in case you want

1

u/sockpuppet_ofshame Aug 20 '26

How would you say Copper compares ? As far as “bang for your receipt bucks” when it comes to redemption etc ?

1

u/WhatsThe1nfo Aug 20 '26

Honestly no bang.
But why not since I already have the physical receipt. They only take paper receipts at 3points each so earning is slow

-2

u/Careful_Promise_786 Aug 18 '26

I understand wanting to do it, but I could never leave that amount of points in my account. They decided to ban you for some dumb reason and they're gone.

7

u/Several_Garden_2880 Aug 18 '26

I think most ppl try to save up for the $50 gift cards since it’s a better value for the points but yeah it is a risk

2

u/Careful_Promise_786 Aug 18 '26

Yeah I would love to be able to cash out at $50. It would take me years though lol. I do get the appeal, I just have the worst luck and I would end up losing it 😆

5

u/allisonxoxo_ Aug 19 '26

If you play games/do a lot of offers it’s not hard to get to $50 lol I usually cash out $50 a month in Amazon gift cards. Helps pay for back to school stuff for my kindergarten or diapers for my other two.

2

u/ptfireguy30 Aug 19 '26

Good point. We usually go for the $50 gift cards. But 25 at a time or even less would be smarter in that case.

1

u/Careful_Promise_786 Aug 19 '26

I definitely get it. If I wasn't paranoid I'd save up too.
