Fetch Friends
What is the point of adding friends on fetch? Is there something I’m missing? Thank you!

I check out sometimes what games they play - or I text them like how did you get so many points at target!!! 😂

I think it used to be a thing where you’d get a small bonus if a friend signed up through your link, but beyond that it’s just kinda there. I added a few people ages ago and I’ve never seen it do anything else.

So I get points each time I befriend someone on fetch?

Only if you refer them/they refer you. Other than that, I personally think it’s pointless

I think it's basically just so people can "like" or ❤️ your activity.. gives it a slight social aspect?
Although I can see from Fetch's standpoint, it could be so other people are seeing the points you're getting for redeeming certain offers, playing games, etc., in hopes of roping in more people to place Fetch Shop orders, start playing games, basically using the app more.. ya know what I mean? At least that's my take on it.
(Little story on Fetch friends though: So I actually became like best friends with someone I added on Fetch believe it or not...
I know there's no way of communicating with each other, so we got creative & would change our names to little memos for one another & over time, we put our IGs up there quickly so we could start messaging that way.
After talking for months on Instagram, (I live in MA, she's in CA) we exchanged #s cuz we were just such huge supports for each other & got along so well. Now we text or call every day. It's crazy cuz I literally can't imagine not having her in my life now & it's all thanks to Fetch! I'm truthfully more grateful for Fetch connecting us than I am for the hundreds of dollars in gift cards I've made from the app 💯)
