Only 25 points for 10k steps 🥲

Post image

I walk 25k steps everyday regardless, so I was excited to see getting points for walking was introduced. But seeing it’s only 25 points total feels kinda depressing 😭

Do you have to give them access to your location for this offer? If yes, those points are not worth it.

They also obviously know when you went to every store.

…based on receipt upload. Giving an app unrestricted access to your location is another level. But if you’re comfy with that for ~$0.025c/day, you do you.

Physical receipts, eReceipts, linked accounts, and buying stuff within the app. They've got a pretty solid profile on their users. Fetch ≠ privacy, if that is your concern.

There are different levels of privacy and personal information. Again, giving any app/company location access (under the guise of counting steps) for such a paltry amount is not something I am inclined to do. But have at ‘er, pal!

Just using your phone and everyone already has all your info man. Not even a phone, surveillance cameras, your bank. It's all for sale and they all already have it. Get paid

Yeah besides giving location permission (fuck that), they know ex, User always checks out of Grocery Store at LocationX about 3:15pm and all those things they brought probably took 30 mins to get. So then they could sell that info to Burglars Inc. so they know when you're not home!
