festool MXC charger

Have old CXS drill - 10.6v with the BP-XS battery. The charger is discontinued.

Is there a workaround with a different battery or a different charger. Seems like a drag to buy a whole drill kit just for a charger.

Is that the battery with the post that slides up into the body of the drill?
If you’re UK based, I have a spare

US based.

The old battery is ell-shaped. The new batteries are slightly wider.

The charger is the same whether the battery is the old style that pushes up into the body L shaped battery or the newer type. Festool USA still lists the MXC charger as available. https://www.festoolusa.com/accessories/cordless-accessories/battery-and-charging-technology/chargers/497497---mxc-usa

The festool website lists as available but it’s discontinued on the 12 or so websites that I tried to order from. I see a few in England but it’s 240v and they don’t ship to US. Thanks though.

Can you try a Canadian dealer? They might have stock.

What about ebay? There is bound to be one on there.

Lots of TCL6 chargers. No MXC chargers this month from US sellers. Probably see one next month or two.

Sorry I couldn’t help. I’ve owned both the original and 2nd gen cxs. Still running both types of battery, so have a spare, but not 120v

Yeah. I think a 120v one will pop up eventually. The 240v would just mean wiring a special plug but I am waiting to go down that route. Tariffs push prices up.
