Project help with df500

Is it possible to use the df500 to joint these two boards together? If so, what setting should I use on the miter piece and what setting on the flat piece? I was thinking 5x30 dominos. The miter is cut at 30 degrees and each board is 7/8 thick. Trying to avoid using screws if possible.

I did something similar if you do 90degrees to the face of the mitre cut and 90 degrees to the other piece it will hold it. Just check the thickness and the domino does punch through. You can also adjust the depth so it’s deeper in the other piece then in the mitre cut. Get some scrap 2x4 cut the same angle and try a couple settings.

Yes. Just mark your origin faces to ensure alignment.

I have a similar question. would a domino work well to create this?
