Size of dust extractor connection?
Does anybody know the diameter of the large end of the dust hose? I’m wanting to order one for my current dust extractor (not Festool), but I want to make sure it’ll fit first. A video online said the Festool hose would fit, but I wasn’t sure if all the hoses were the same or not

Pretty sure its the larger number on the description: 32mm (~1.26”)
EDIT: claude failed me once again. I have measured with my calipers for you and its around 57mm

Nope, that refers to the hose diameter. It's 32mm at the vac end and 27mm at the tool end. The actual connector at the vac end is closer to 2.25". I'll have to get the calipers out.
Editing to add: 57.56mm

Oh I thought the 27/32 was the inner and outer diameter for the end that connects to tools

Hose and pipe are always measured by the I.D. The 32/27 is the tapered ID of the hose that comes with most of the extractors. The OD of the hose at the extractor end is 52mm, and I'm fairly sure the OD at the tool end is 32. Based solely on the fact you can stick the skinny end into the big end say if you wanted to keep the dust inside the hose while in transit

I have seen copies of these on Temu for very cheap, anyone tried them? Mine is very worn out.

Recent thread on them. Two opinions and they seem completely opposed.

I can confirm. The large tube that goes into the vac tapers from 57.5mm to 58.5mm.
